I am Mary Ann Taylor and I will be your child's teacher this year. I was born and raised in Bonham. I am married and have three children. Two girls and one boy. We also have six grandchildren, four boys and two girls. As you can see I stay pretty busy with my family. I love to read and cross stitch if I have any time to myself.
I started working for Bonham ISD in 1991 in the kitchen at Stephenson. The next year I was hired as a Teacher's Assistant. In 2000 I was hired as a classroom teacher. I love my job and being able to watch the children learn and grow during the year.
I am looking forward to a great year with your child and your familly. Our goal is to have alot of fun while learning many new concepts. If you ever have any concerns or questions, do not hesitate to come and talk to me. You are your child's most important teacher, so if we can work together as a team I believe your child will benefit greatly from our program. |

We have been having a great time talking about shadows and reflections. The children have been watching their shadows on the playground. We have looked in mirrors, water, and windows to see our reflections. We are working on letter sounds and blending the sounds to make words. We have also been talking about shapes. The children are able to tell the name of the shape and give a description. |
