My name is Patti Shepherd and I will be your child's teacher this year. This will be my 28th year to teach at Fannin County Head Start. I have been married for 34 years and I have four children and ten grandchildren. I am looking forward to an exciting and fun filled year with your child.

 My name is Pat Bridges and I have been with Head Start for 21 years. I have two children and two grandsons. I enjoy working with the children and watching them learn.

Rachel's Challenge

Our class will be working on a chain of kindness and caring because of Rachel's Challenge. The children will learn how to communicate their feelings to each other, how to be respectful to our school family and how to help one another. Please talk with your children about how they can be kind and compassionate to other children at home and at school. We will be working on this throughout the school year.

Our campus has a lending library available for parents. You may come by and check out books to read with your child.

Attendance

 Your child's attendance at school is very important. Please call and let us know if your child will not be at school. If your child goes to the doctor or dentist, please bring a note from them so that we can enter it in their attendance record.
