Internet Safety Resources
There are many Internet Safety Resources out there, and some are bettter than others. The following links are a good place to start, and they provide a wealth of information.

This web site provides valuable information on the media your students may be consuming. The site offers general safety information along with reviews on different media formats. Formats reviewed include movies, games, TV shows, web sites, music, and books. There are also some fun features.
This is a comprehensive Internet safety site sponsored by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The site contains games, resources, web contracts, etc. for parents, students, and educators. The materials are leveled for all age groups, and the site is engaging and attractive. A super place to go to find Internet safety information.
Just found this site. Founded by a non-profit group, this site features toms of tip sheets for parents, students, and educators. Covers many safety issues and has current news and forum sections.
MTV's A Thin Line
This is an edgy site sponsored by MTV. I recommend this for use with older students as it may contain some mature themes and language. That said, excellent resources for ethical digital behavior.

Guide sponsored by FBI with information and steps that parents/guardians can take to prevent and report Internet safety-related incidents.
