Reading is the one of the most important subjects in my classroom. We will read all day long in every subject. I would like to ask your help in making your child a successful reader. Listed below are some activities you can do at home.
- Have your child read 20 minutes every night.
- Read to/read with your child several times a week.
- Study weekly vocabulary words.
- Study sight words.
- Use STAAR reading strategy (more information to come later.
